China's first offshore wind power project by the end of June and grid

China's first and Asia's first offshore wind power project, the Shanghai East Sea Bridge 102 MW offshore wind power project of 34 three-megawatt generating units all will be the end of June this year, all the grid. The project will be the year the Internet will reach 267 million kwh electricity.

East China Sea Bridge wind farm is 
      China's first and Asia's first offshore wind power project, located in Shanghai East Sea Bridge, the site on both sides of 6-12 km from the coastline of Shanghai area, with a total installed capacity of 102MW, total investment 2.365 billion yuan. Thewind generators farm currently has 11 units and power generation. Shanghai Green Energy Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of State Grid Corporation, a subsidiary of Shanghai Electric Power, the East China Sea Bridge wind farm is the main one of the investors and operators.

Prior to the National Energy Administration, deputy director of New Energy said Shi Lishan, Energy Bureau has to Liaoning, Shanghai, Shandong and Jiangsu provinces, 11 departments issued a circular calling for offshore wind power to declare parts of the concession tender. And land-based wind power in different countries have established benchmark price this year and only large-scale offshore wind power concession tender to find out the cost of offshore wind power generation.

In this regard, there are anonymous, told reporters that the power to the East China Sea Bridge is the first offshore wind generators tender, the price standard for the future offshore wind power could provide an important reference to the tender, in the present case, the offshore wind power per kWh price of 1.0 dollars and may be more appropriate, but does not rule out the bidders to compete for resources over the sea to reduce the tender price.
